Claims (1)
- 車体外部に開口させた外部側吸気通路と同内部
に開口させた内部側吸気通路とを内燃機関に至る
途中で合流させるとともに、前記通路合流部に位
置して外部側吸気通路または内部側吸気通路を選
択的に内燃機関に連通する通路切換弁を設けた車
両用内燃機関において、形状記憶合金からなる弾
性部材を動力源として有する開閉駆動手段を前記
通路切換弁に連接し、かつ前記開閉駆動手段は前
記弾性部材の変態に基づき所定温度未満の低温時
には外部側吸気通路を閉ざす方向に、同じく所定
温度以上の高温時には内部側吸気通路を閉ざす方
向に、それぞれ通路切換弁を駆動する設定とした
ことを特徴とする車両用内燃機関の吸気通路切換
装置。
