Signs, especially those using light waves in the field of slope markings, have traditionally used incandescent light bulbs as the light source, but most of them also use lenses to narrow down the luminous flux in order to increase the luminous power. generally has a unique light flashing code (hereinafter referred to as light quality) for each individual light source. To cope with this, the lens must be rotated or the power supply to the light source itself can be interrupted.

However, the biggest disadvantage of this method is that the lens itself is extremely expensive, and the light source must be placed precisely at the focal point of the lens, especially in the case of long focal length lenses. The problem is that the dimensions must be large. In addition, when the light source itself is rotated together with the lens to generate a light chamber, power is generally supplied using a slip ring and brush mechanism, but this mechanism requires a large storage space and requires complete maintenance of the sliding condition. This meant that there were many difficulties in terms of maintenance.

The present invention eliminates the above drawbacks, namely lenses, slip rings - Blanc 8! The object of the present invention is to provide an economical and practical compact sign lamp that eliminates the need for structural components and exhibits the same or better performance.

In general, the area of the light source (apparently upward from the lens optical axis direction)
Let So, the height be Ho, and the luminous intensity (in the direction of the lens optical axis) be IO. Place the light source at the focal point of the lens, and the luminous intensity after passing through the lens is IL, the lens area is SL, and the height is HL.
Then, K is expressed as a coefficient mainly based on lens transmittance. In this case, if the light source brightness is the same and the light source area is made equal to the lens area (lens height in the case of a cylindrical lens), there is no need to use a lens.

To solve this problem, a solid-state light emitting device such as a light emitting diode is used as a light source. For example, if the light source is a light bulb, the density increases due to mutual interference with neighboring objects due to heat generation, etc. However, since solid-state light emitting devices can be arrayed and mounted at high density, the average brightness of the collective light source can be extremely high.

Regarding the method of rotating the light source to obtain the light chamber of the sign, the circuit connection means for power supply uses a mechanism in which an electrode is inserted into an insulated mercury tank, and the electrode moves within the mercury tank as it rotates. . This allows power to be supplied smoothly as the light source rotates, and the contact resistance for this is extremely low.
There is no need to generate sparks, etc. (See Figure ftS3) Figures 1 and 2 are examples of the present invention, and will be described with reference to the drawings.

In FIG. 2, the light emitting diode assembly 13 is a cylindrical arrangement of strips, and is housed in a transparent 7-door 15. Power to the starting light diode assembly is supplied from an AC-DC regulator 17 via a day/night control flasher 14, which is connected to the casing 1.

In the above configuration, the light emitting diode assembly can make the unit light source spacing extremely small, so the overall average brightness can be made quite high, and when combined with the large light source area, the luminous intensity can be made quite high. . Further, the light distribution curve has the same shape as the form in which the lens is used. The tAl embodiment is controlled by an illuminance switch at night, and the rotary table is driven by a constant speed motor via a speed reducer and a coupling gear. In this case, the target material as a marker is determined by the rotation speed and the arrangement of the light emitting diode assembly. Since power is supplied to the light source via the rotating power supply coupling, it can be supplied without any problem even when the light source rotates. In the second embodiment, the flasher is activated by the illuminance switch at night, and the power supply #a18 also rotates with the rotation of the 0-turn table that supplies intermittent power that matches the light source to the light source. The rotary electrodes 19, 20 of the rotary feed line coupling connected to the rotary feed line coupling also rotate accordingly.

Since it is immersed in a mercury tank, it moves within the mercury tank, but since an electric path is always formed between it and the other electrode via the mercury, power is supplied without any abnormalities.

Furthermore, there is no electric circuit sliding part such as a slip ring, and since the light source is a solid-state light emitting body typified by a light emitting diode, the service life is significantly increased and the maintenance burden is extremely reduced.
