  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 潜像担持体と、該潜像担持体表面を一様に帯電
    させる帯電チヤージヤと、画像光を上記潜像担持
    体に投射して静電潜像を形成する露光手段と、該
    静電潜像を顕像化する現像手段と、該顕像を転写
    紙上に転写する転写手段とを備えた記録装置を複
    数個有し、転写紙搬送手段によつて転写紙を各記
    録装置に順次搬送して該転写紙上に画像を重ねて
    転写する画像形成装置において、 上記の各記録装置のそれぞれを機枠上に、隣り
    合う記録装置に近づいたり遠ざかつたりする方向
    へ移動可能に支持する複数の第１支持手段と、 各第１支持手段によつて支持される上記の各記
    録装置を上記機枠上に一体に支持する第２支持手
    段と、 該第２支持手段に設けられ、上記の各記録装置
    を個別に位置調節する位置調節手段とを有するこ
    とを特徴とする画像形成装置。
