    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 先端側に刈刃１を装備する操作杆２にフレキシ
    ブルシヤフト３を介して伝動連結したエンジン４
    を装備するとともに、該エンジン４を背負枠５側
    に垂直軸６を中心として回動可能に架設して構成
    する背負型刈払機において、前記エンジン４の下
    方に一体的にして垂設する前記垂直軸６をパイプ
    状に形成し、エンジン４のマフラ７から延出する
    テールパイプ８を前記垂直軸６内に嵌挿して下部
    まで延設し、該垂直軸６内にはテールパイプ８の
    外周にグラスウールなどのサイレンサー９を装填
    するとともに、該サイレンサー９に囲まれるテー
    ルパイプ８の部分をパンチングメタルにより形成
    して構成したことを特徴とするエンジン排気装置
    。
