    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 一対の上下平板ガラスと、この上下平板ガラス
    間に位置するロ字状の枠ガラスと排気管とをフリ
    ツトガラスで熱溶着することにより密閉したガラ
    ス容器を形成し、このガラス容器内に一対の板状
    の放電々極を対向配置してなる平面型蛍光灯にお
    いて、前記放電々極の側壁に対して平行に延出す
    る平板状の電極支持部材を設け、この電極支持部
    材の他端を前記枠ガラス同志を接合するフリツト
    ガラス内に埋設することにより前記放電々極を弾
    性的に支持してなる平面型蛍光灯。
