The present invention relates to a flame retardant composition used for electric wires, cable sheaths, automobile mats, etc. Polyvinyl chloride compositions, which are generally used as molding materials for flame-retardant molded products, contain large amounts of flammable plasticizers, etc., so they easily burn when exposed to flames and eventually turn into ash. I end up. Therefore, vinyl chloride copolymers, which are internally plasticized by grafting ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymers or ethylene-propylene copolymers onto polyvinyl chloride, have been developed as highly flame-retardant materials. However, such resins have very poor oil resistance and are difficult to use as sheath materials for electric wires, cables, etc. Crosslinking has also been carried out to improve oil resistance, but this has the disadvantage of requiring large-scale crosslinking equipment. The inventors of the present invention have carried out intensive research to resolve these difficulties, and have found that by adding powdered fluororesin, crosslinking equipment is not required and flame retardant performance and processability are not impaired. It was found that oil resistance was improved. The present invention has been made based on such findings, and is directed to a graft polymer of ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer and polyvinyl chloride, or a graft polymer of ethylene-propylene copolymer and polyvinyl chloride. The present invention relates to a flame retardant composition comprising 1 to 10 parts by weight of powdered fluororesin per 100 parts by weight. Examples of the graft polymer of ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer and polyvinyl chloride used in the present invention include Graftomer R-5 and R manufactured by Nippon Zeon Co., Ltd.
-There are 3. Examples of the graft polymer of ethylene-propylene copolymer and polyvinyl chloride used in the present invention include Lavander manufactured by Ryoichisha. These may be used alone or in a blend. The powdered fluororesin used in the present invention is Teflon 6C-J, 6- manufactured by Mitsui Fluorochemical Co., Ltd.
There are J, TLP-10, TLP10F-1, etc. others
Pellets such as PFA340-J and 350-J may be crushed and used. The appropriate amount of this substance to be added is 1 to 10 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the base polymer.
If the amount is less than this, the oil resistance will not improve, and if it is more than this, the processability will deteriorate and the mechanical properties will also deteriorate. In the present invention, flame retardants such as antimony trioxide and zinc borate are added to the base polymer as necessary.
If it is added in an amount of 3 to 40 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight, very high flame retardance can be obtained. Furthermore, if 5 to 80 parts by weight, preferably 10 to 30 parts by weight, of a hydrogen chloride scavenger such as magnesium carbonate or calcium carbonate is added to 100 parts by weight of the base polymer, the generation of hydrogen chloride gas during combustion can be halved. It can be reduced to ~1/3 or less. In addition, a softening agent such as low molecular weight polyethylene, a lubricant such as stearic acid, and a stabilizer such as tribasic lead sulfate may be added. Next, examples will be described. [Example] The components shown in Table 1 were kneaded by a conventional method, press-molded to obtain a sheet of a predetermined thickness, and the mechanical properties and oil resistance were measured. A CV cable of 600 V1 x 3.5 mm 2 was obtained by extruding it onto a cross-linked polyethylene insulator and subjected to a combustion test. The results were as shown in the same table.

の成形品に充分使用することができる。
[Table] As is clear from the above examples, the flame retardant composition according to the present invention has significantly improved oil resistance,
It can be fully used for electric wires, cable sheaths, automobile mats, and other molded products.
