【考案の詳細な説明】 本考案はシリンダヘツドガスケツトに関するも
のである。
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a cylinder head gasket.

従来のいわゆるラミネート型シリンダヘツドガ
スケツト(以下ガスケツトという)を第1,2図
について説明すると、1はクランクケース、2は
シリンダライナ、3はシリンダヘツド、4はガス
ケツト5の外板、6は鋼板の中板、7は同中板の
上面に設けられた上方内部構造板(以下上方板と
いう)、8は下面に設けられた下方内部構造板
(以下下方板という)である。ガスケツト5はシ
リンダライナ2との間に空隙9を存して設けられ
るが、この空隙9を埋めるべくガスケツト5外板
4内周縁にフアイヤリング10が嵌め込まれる。
これはデツドスペースが大きくなることによるエ
ンジンの圧縮比の低下を来たすのを防止するため
と、燃焼熱に外板4内周縁が直接にさらされるの
を防ぐためである。ところで、上記上下方両板
7,8にはシリンダライナボア11と同心円的に
突条部12,13がそれぞれシリンダヘツド3側
およびクランクケース1側に向つて突出するよう
に形成されている。なお、14は締付ボルトの孔
を示す。このように上記従来装置では突条部1
2,13が一本に形成されているため、シリンダ
ヘツド3組付時、ガスケツト5を介してシリンダ
ライナ2のフランジ部15およびクランクケース
1の棚部16に作用する応力が過大となるため
に、ライナ2およびクランクケース1にクラツク
A,Bが生じたり、シリンダライナ2が変形した
り、ひいてはガスシール性を損ねるといつた不具
合があつた。本考案は上記に鑑みて工夫されたも
のであり、第3図に示す実施例について説明する
と、上方板7および下方板8にそれぞれ突条部1
2,13とは別の突条部17,18を同心円的に
突設し、しかも突条部12,13と同様シリンダ
ライナの上方に配置している。また、半径方向内
方にある突条部12,13よりも半径方向外方に
ある突条部17,18の上下方向の高さを高くな
るように設定している。
