ルの外側パネル、６はリヤフエンダ２のリヤホイ
ールハウスの後壁を形成するフランジ２ａにスプ
リングナツト８−タツピングスクリユー１０結合
されて固定された樹脂製マツドガードである。こ
のマツドガード６の取付けはフランジ２ａに取付
孔が穿設され、ここにスプリングナツト８を差し
込み、マツドガード６をその取付部６ａにおいて
フランジ２ａに沿わせてタツピングスクリユー１
０を螺合するようにしているが、スプリングナツ
ト８を差し込む際にフランジ２ａの表面の塗膜を
傷つけ、発錆の原因になるという問題がある。し
かも、マツドガード６をフランジ２ａに沿わせる
際に車幅方向の位置規制が難しく、位置設定を行
う際に、マツドガード６の端末部６ｂがリヤフエ
ンダ２の表面２ｂとこじつてフエンダ表面２ｂの
塗膜を傷つける恐れもあり、位置決めが難しいと
同時に発錆の恐れがあるとともに、作業性も著し

２０に挿入しナツト２２と螺合させて取付基部１
６ａと折曲片部１６ｃとでフランジ２ａを挾持す
るようにしてマツドガード１６の取り付けを行う

とがなく、防錆性に優れたものとなるという実用
