Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 （産業上の利用分野） 本発明は、飲料用パックに関するものである。
（従来の技術） 本出願人は、英国特許明細書第２１２１７６２Ａ号中に
簡便に飲料を得る方法、特に水を混入づ”ると飲料とな
る材料、例えば挽いたコーヒー豆や茶の葉を入れた密封
パックから飲料を臂る方法を記載している。このパック
はコーヒーかすや茶からを保持するフィルター材料を含
んでおり、好ましくは、水を注入する注水器に対してこ
のパックを正確に位置決めするのを助けるプラスチック
製のノズルが上端に設けられている。パックの底部は例
えば切断によって開封されたり、感圧シールあるいは感
熱シールを聞くことによって開封されたりする。
水性媒体がノズルを通して注入され、飲料がパックの底
部にできたこの開口から集められるようになっている。
このようなパックに関して、底部の間口が不整であるこ
とから１つの問題が生じている。本出願人は欧州特許明
細書第０１７９６４１Ａ号中に、上方に向いているよう
に折られているが、パックの上端から水性媒体が注入さ
れた時に下向きに翻転する折り目を備えたウェブ材料を
パックの内部に用いることによって（このつＩプ材料は
フィルター状のメツシュになっていてもなっていなくて
もよい）底部にある開口がいかに改良されるかを記載し
ている。
しかしこの底部にある開口はなお改良の余地がある。未
だ残る１つの問題は、下端のシーム（下シーム）を開い
た時に、この下シームの中央がまくれ上がってしまうと
いう点に起因している。もし、この部分がまくれ上がっ
たままになっていると、この部分は下方全く垂直方向に
というよりむしろ斜めに飲料を噴出してしまう通すしと
なる可能性がある。そこで本出願人は、パックの側方シ
ーム上の、底部に近接した位置に幅広シール部を設ける
ことによってこの問題を減じたり、除去したりできるこ
とを発見した。
（発明の目的） 本発明はこの発見にもとづいて、下シームの中央がまく
れ上がることのないこの種の飲料用パックを提供するこ
とを目的とするものである。
（弁明の構成） 本発明による飲料用密封パックは、実質的に空気および
水に対して不浸透性であり、可撓性のあるシート材料で
形成されたほぼ平面状の飲料用密封パックにおいて、前
記シート材料が、水性媒体を混入すると飲料となる材料
を保持号−る、浸透性材料からなるウェブを収容し、か
つこのウェブに付着しており、前記パックには水性媒体
注入手段に関する位置決め手段がその一端（上端）に、
開封可能な下シームが前記上端と反対の一端に、さらに
幅広シール部を下シームに近接した位置にそれぞれ含む
一対の側方シームが設けられており、前記幅広シール部
がそれぞれ前記パックのほぼ平面状の面の幅方向に内方
に向かって張り出していることを特徴とするものである
。
好ましくは、断面がほぼ逆Ｖ字形になる部分を含み、両
端が前記空気および水に対して不浸透性のシー１−４４
利の両側端上の部分にそれぞれ取り付【プられている、
翻転可能な浸透性ウェブがパックに設けられている。
幅広シール部はおよそ半円形をしており、パックの内部
にウェブ材料（代表的にはフィルター材料）に近接して
配されている。
（実　施　例） 本発明による好ましいパックをその正面図である添付図
面に示す。
図面に示すように、本発明によるパックは欧州特許明細
書第０１７９６４１Ａ号中に記載されたパックと人体同
様の形式のものであり、上シーム４および側方シーム６
の箇所で融着された２枚の空気および水に対して不浸透
性のシート材料２から成っている。下シーム８は感圧接
着剤で形成されている。パックの内部には、側方シーム
にシールされて、断面がＷ字型になるように折りたたま
れた１枚のフィルター材料１０が備えられている。折り
たたまれたフィルター材料１０のＷ字の（中央の）頂点
は、パックが開かれた時に下向きに翻転する。
ノズル１２の下端が上シーム４内にシールされている。
側方シーム６は垂直方向に下方に延び、次いで１４の部
分で内方に向かってテーパーし、飲料が出てくるための
若干細くなった開口を形成している。
側方シーム６はそれぞれ幅広シール部１６を含んでいる
。図に示すように、各幅広シール部は、それが含まれる
側方シームのテーパーの下端とほぼ同じだ（プ内方に張
出している。
（発明の作用および効果） パックが使用される際に、これらの幅広シール部１６は
側方シームを内方に向かせる作用を有し、前述したよう
な下シームがまくれ上がる傾向を弱める。これらの幅広
シール部によって一般に、パックが使用される際に、よ
り堅固な、よりよい開口が提供される。

Claims (6)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. （１）実質的に空気および水に対して不浸透性であり、
    可撓性のあるシート材料で形成されたほぼ平面状の飲料
    用密封パックにおいて、前記シート材料が、水性媒体を
    混入すると飲料となる飲料用材料を保持する、浸透性材
    料からなるウェブを収容し、かつこのウェブに付着して
    おり、前記パックには水性媒体注入手段に関する位置決
    め手段がその上端に、開封可能な下シームが下端に、さ
    らに幅広シール部を下シームに近接した位置にそれぞれ
    含む一対の側方シームが設けられており、前記幅広シー
    ル部がそれぞれ前記パックのほぼ平面状の面の幅方向に
    内方に向かつて張り出していることを特徴とするほぼ平
    面状の飲料用密封パック。
  2. （２）前記側方シームが前記パックの下シームに向かつ
    て内方に斜めに延びたテーパー部を有し、前記幅広シー
    ル部がそれぞれ該テーパー部の上端に配され、該テーパ
    ー部の下端とほぼ同じだけ内方に張出していることを特
    徴とする特許請求の範囲第１項記載のパック。
  3. （３）前記浸透性ウェブ材料が、断面がほぼ逆Ｖ字型に
    なる部分を含み、両端が前記空気および水に対して不浸
    透性のシート材料の両側端上の部分にそれぞれ取り付け
    られていることを特徴とする特許請求の範囲第１項記載
    または第２項記載のパック。
  4. （４）前記下シームが感圧シールまたは感熱シールから
    なることを特徴とする特許請求の範囲第１項乃至第３項
    のいずれか１項記載のパック。
  5. （５）前記位置決め手段がパックに取り付けられたプラ
    スチック製のノズルからなることを特徴とする特許請求
    の範囲第１項乃至第４項のいずれか１項記載のパック。
  6. （６）前記飲料用材料が挽いたコーヒー豆や茶の葉であ
    り、前記ウェブ材料がこのコーヒー豆や茶の葉用のフィ
    ルターを形成することを特徴とする特許請求の範囲第１
    項乃至第５項のいずれか１項記載のパック。
