この発明はミシンの縫製時に被縫製物を押える

明する。第1〜第4図において、この布押え装置
を取付ける自動ミシンは、ミシンテーブル1の上
面に針2で縫い目を形成するための機構を内蔵し
たミシン機構部3と被縫製物を上押え金4と下押
え板5との間に押圧挟持する布押え装置6と、こ
の布押え装置6をすべり板7上で所定のパターン
にしたがつて平面的にかつ、左右方向へ移動させ
る布押え駆動部8とが設けられている。ミシンテ
ーブル1の袖部分には上記各部の動作を統括する
制御部9が設けられ、この制御部9は自動ミシン
の動作内容を規定する各種スイツチ類が配設され
た操作パネル部10と、布押え駆動部8の移動制
御を行うようになつている。上記布押え装置6は
布押え駆動機構8の出力端8aに固定された左右
方向に横長なベース11と、このベース11の前
部に左右方向へ移動自在に装着された左右一対の
上押え金4と、この左右一対の上押え金4の左右
間隔を調整自在に固定する間隔調整手段12とか
らなる。上記ベース11の前面に左右の切欠形成
した凹欠部13の前面にガイド溝14を形成し、
これらのガイド溝14には夫々上記左右一対の上
押え金4の基端をねじ15固定したブロツク16
のガイド子16aを摺動自在に嵌装してある。上
記間隔調整手段12はベース11の凹欠部13に
横架された左右一対のねじ棒17と、これらねじ
棒17の固定ねじ18と、ブロツク16の締付ね
じ19とからなる。上記左右一対のねじ棒17の
先端はねじ部17aより縮径の丸棒に形成され、
これを凹欠部13間に位置するベース11の中央
壁11aに回動自在に嵌装してあり、ねじ部17
aより太径の丸棒に形成され、これを凹欠部13
の外側に位置するベース11の外側壁11bに回
動自在に貫通し、その端末に摘み17bを固定し
てある。上記ベース11の外側壁11bとブロツ
ク16との間にはねじ棒17の外周に装着したコ
イルスプリング20を介装してある。上記固定ね
じ18はベース11の中央壁11aにねじ嵌合さ
れ、固定ねじ18の先端が上記ねじ棒17の先端
外周面の一部を固定ねじ18の締込み操作により
押圧固定し、固定ねじ18の弛緩操作により該押
圧固定を解除するようになつている。上記締付ね
じ19はベース11にガイド溝14に連通して形
成された横長穴21に挿通され、締付ねじ19の
先端がブロツク16のガイド子16aにねじ嵌合
されており、締付ねじ19の締付け操作によりブ
ロツク16がベース11に位置固定され、締付ね
じ19の弛緩操作によりブロツク16がベース1
