  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (1) 液晶をカプセル内に封入したカプセル液晶

    で散在させて固定した液晶装置から文字あるいは
    図形の形を切除し、該文字あるいは該図形を切除
    した液晶装置をガラスまたはプラスチツク等の透
    明基体上に接着せしめた液晶表示装置。 (2) 前記液晶がネマチツク液晶である実用新案
    登録請求の範囲第１項に記載の液晶表示装置。 (3) 前記文字あるいは前記図形がガラスまたは
    プラスチツク等の二枚の透明基体間に接着せしめ
    た実用新案登録請求の範囲第１項又は第２項に記
    載の液晶表示装置。
