示す如く被圧延材aにバツクリングが生じるため
に比較的厚い板厚の段階でしか充分な圧下ができ
ず、板厚が薄いと僅かな圧下量しか与えられない
ために生産能率が著しく低下する問題を有してい
た。また従来において大きな幅圧下量を与えよう
とすると被圧延材aの幅端部にドツグボーンbが
生じることになつて幅戻量が増大したり、幅出し
圧延により幅端部にエツジの折込みが生じる問題
を有していた。

防止装置を構成し、前記端部押えロールの竪ロー
ル側に円柱状部を形成すると共に内側に截頭円錐
状部を形成し、且つ前記端部押えロールを被圧延
材の幅方向に位置移動調整可能に構成したことを
特徴とする竪ロールによる圧延装置、に係るもの

記竪ロール1,2の軸線を結ぶ線上に配置されて
いる。
