It is known that a wood input port is provided above the receiving blade provided on the top. Since the chips produced by this chipper vary in size, they are sorted into large, medium and small blocks by a sorter, and the large blocks are again divided into small blocks by a crusher.

However, there is a problem in that productivity is low.

There is a problem that the yield of chips of this size is low and the cost is high.

The purpose of this project is to provide a chipper that can improve chip yield by disassembling cut chips into pieces of optimal thickness. To achieve this goal, we have taken the following technical measures. Ta. That is, in the present invention, the rotary disk 4 equipped with the cutting blade 5 is mounted on the pedestal 1 via the shaft 8 through the bearing 9.10.
In a wood chipper, a wood input port 13 is provided above a receiving blade 15 which is rotatably supported on a shaft and which is provided on a pedestal 1 facing a cutting blade 5, with the disc 4 in between. A chip disassembly member 1 is installed on the opposite side of the wood input port 13.
A configuration with 6 was adopted.

Due to the shearing action of the opening edge 7A of the slit 7 and the chip disassembling member 16, the chips are disassembled into chips of a predetermined size. Note that the size of the chip depends on the distance between the back surface of the rotary disk 4 and the chip disassembly member 16.
