Claims (1)
- 磁気ヘツドの磁気記録媒体に対する摺接面を円
筒面に加工するべく回転砥石１を装備した磁気ヘ
ツド研磨装置に於いて、前記回転砥石１に対向し
てヘツドチツプ駆動機構４を配備し、該駆動機構
は、外周部に複数のヘツドチツプ固定部を具える
と共に中心部に貫通孔６０が開設された回転デイ
スク６と、該回転デイスクの貫通孔６０へ挿脱可
能に且つ密に嵌合する主軸部５１を具え回転デイ
スクと一体回転すべき支持具５と、該支持具５を
主軸部５１を中心として回転駆動する回転装置と
から構成され、加工を施すべき複数のヘツドチツ
プは、前記回転デイスクのヘツドチツプ固定部に
加工面を外方へ臨出して配設され、回転デイスク
の連続回転と回転砥石の切込みにより研磨加工が
施されることを特徴とする磁気ヘツド研磨装置。
