An example of this can be briefly explained with reference to Figure 5.
Reference numeral 1 indicates the ceiling surface (board), 2 indicates the through hole thereof, and 3 indicates the entire lighting device. A case 4 has an opening at the bottom and is made of metal or the like. A socket base 5 is mounted inside the case 4, and a socket 6 is mounted on the socket base 5, into which a light source or lamp 7 is removably fitted. As the lamp 7, not only an incandescent lamp but also a discharge lamp can be used.

Reference numeral 8 denotes a cover (or decorative plate) provided at the opening of the case 4, and is adapted to be detachably attached to the opening. That is, a hook 9 is attached to one surface (upper surface in the figure) of the cover 8, and the base of a so-called V-shaped spring 10 is wound around this hook 9. On the other hand, inside the case 4, a spring receiver 11 is installed to receive the V-shaped spring 10, and the cover 8 is manually moved up and down while the V-shaped spring 10 is engaged with the spring receiver 11.
When lifted upward (as shown in Figure 5),
The expansion biasing force of the V-shaped spring 10 holds the cover 8 against the opening, and when the cover 8 is pulled down (not shown), the bent portion 10a at the upper end of the V-shaped spring 10 is held. The cover 8 is engaged with the spring receiver 11 to hold the cover 8 in a lowered position sufficiently separated from the case 4, making it convenient for inspection and repair inside the case 4, or for replacing the lamp 7. V-shaped spring 1 like this
The means for attaching and detaching the lamp 8 to and from the case 4 using the spring retainer 11 is well known.

A through hole 12 is formed approximately in the center of the cover 8, and the light from the lamp 1 is configured to directly illuminate the floor surface through the hole 12. In this way, the lamp 7 is prevented from entering the field of view, that is, it is prevented from causing glare. Incidentally, reference numeral 13 denotes a reflecting plate disposed inside the case 4 and attached on the cover 8.

Since the lamp 7 is stored in the ceiling, there is a problem that the light is concentrated on the floor and the ceiling becomes dark, making it ideal for places such as halls where a bright atmosphere is required throughout. However, there were drawbacks such as the need to use a separate hanging lighting device.

Its effect is that a portion of the light from the lamp buried in the ceiling is reflected by this reflector toward the ceiling surface, creating a so-called indirect lighting effect.
You can get a bright atmosphere throughout the hall.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS The lighting device according to the present invention will be described below with reference to FIGS. 1 to 4. However, parts corresponding to those in FIG. 5 are given the same reference numerals and their explanations will be omitted.

In the example shown in FIG. 1, a plurality of hanging devices 14 such as chains are suspended from the cover 8, and a reflecting plate 15 made of a metal plate or the like is attached to the lower end thereof. In this case, a window hole 16 is formed in the center of the reflector plate 15 to allow the light from the lamp 7 to pass therethrough, and by providing the reflector plate 15, the floor surface becomes extremely dark. There is. In this case, the reflecting plate 15 and the window hole 16 can each be arbitrarily selected to have a required size, and their shapes can also be arbitrarily selected to be circular, square, etc., respectively.

According to this configuration, a part of the light beam from the lamp 7 is reflected by the upper surface of the reflector 15 toward the ceiling surface 1, and is further reflected from the ceiling surface 1 toward the floor surface, so that a so-called indirect lighting effect is achieved. Obtainable. Further, since a part of the light directly illuminates the floor surface through the window hole 16, the floor surface does not become dark even though the reflective plate 15 is provided.

FIG. 2 shows another embodiment of the reflecting plate 15 shown in FIG. In this example, a plurality of window holes 16 are arranged in an orderly manner with different sizes. Therefore, in this example, the portion other than the plurality of window holes 16 serves as a reflective surface, and an indirect lighting effect can be obtained. Also, due to the scattered window holes,
The light that hits the floor is also scattered and averaged.

FIG. 3 is a sectional view showing other embodiments of the reflecting plate 15, in which a flat reflecting plate was used in the above example, whereas in this example, the reflecting plate was curved.
That is, this is a case where an inverted dish-shaped reflecting plate is used, and has a window hole 16 in the center as in the case of FIG. In this case, the shape of the reflector 15 viewed from the bottom surface is not limited to a circle, but can be selected to be any shape. In this example, since the reflecting plate 15 is curved, the range of reflection onto the ceiling surface 1 becomes sufficiently wider than in the cases of FIGS. 1 and 2, and the indirect lighting effect is further enhanced.

FIG. 4 shows still another embodiment of the reflection plate 15,
In the above example, a metal plate or the like is used to reflect the light from the lamp 7 on the reflector, but in this example, a material with light diffusing and translucent properties such as a milky white acrylic plate is used. This is the case. As a result, a portion of the light that reaches the upper surface of this plate 15 from the lamp 7 is reflected on the ceiling surface 1 in the same way as in the above case, and a portion of the light is irradiated through the plate 15 toward the floor surface. Therefore, it is possible to obtain an indirect lighting effect similar to that described above, and also to expect an indirect lighting effect.

According to the present invention described above, even though the lamp 7 is placed on the back side of the ceiling surface 1, it is possible to obtain the same lighting effect as conventional indirect lighting, and moreover, the light from the lamp 7 can be A part of the light reaches the floor directly through this plate 15, so that an indirect lighting effect can be obtained. Therefore, by using only one type of lighting device, the entire hall, etc. can be made to have a bright atmosphere without substantially impairing the brightness of the floor surface, and has an economical feature.
Further, when it is desired to change the effect of indirect lighting or direct lighting, the purpose can be achieved at a low cost by replacing only the reflector plate 15.
