As shown in Japanese Patent Publication No. 57-38823, the inventor supported the object through a flat rolling element with respect to the support. We proposed a seismic isolation support device that has an external shape that allows the supported object to gradually rise as the rolling angle increases when moving. By using such rolling elements, the cost is significantly reduced compared to the conventional case in which balls are arranged between the support surface of the support body formed in spherical recesses each having an extremely large radius and the supported surface of the supported object. This is to enable the reduction of In devices using such rolling elements, the rolling elements cannot return to their initial positions and postures after an earthquake due to slippage during an earthquake, and their arrangement must be adjusted.

In one embodiment of the present invention shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, reference numeral 10 designates seismic isolation support devices according to the present invention, which are provided in an appropriate number between the support body 12 and the supported object 13. The seismic isolation support device 10 has rolling elements 15 . This rolling element has a rolling surface 16 whose length in the vertical direction is shorter than the length in all horizontal directions, and whose upper and lower surfaces are curved in a substantially bowl-like shape so as to protrude upward and downward at the center, respectively; It has 17. For example, when such a rolling element rolls from a reference state shown in FIG. 1, as the rolling angle increases, the supported object 13 rises as shown in FIG. 3. The rolling element 15 may be configured such that its upper and lower ends are slightly horizontal so that it does not roll when shaken below a predetermined level.

Reference numeral 20 denotes a cylindrical attachment member attached to the lower surface of the supported object 13 so as to surround the rolling element 15. Reference numeral 21 denotes a diaphragm-shaped return spring made of thin rubber, whose peripheral edge is fixed to the lower end of the mounting member 20 by an annular member 22 and whose central part is fixed to the central peripheral edge of the rolling element 15. It is shaped to reduce elasticity. This return spring is
3 moves with respect to the support body 12, the rolling elements 15 roll as shown in FIG. , the vibration characteristics of the supported object 13 and the rolling elements 15 in the event of an earthquake are hardly affected.

In the configuration as described above, if the rolling elements 15 have not returned to their initial positions and postures after an earthquake, the supported object 13 may be lifted slightly by a means not shown, for example, to remove the supporting member 12.
When released, the rolling element 15 can be returned to its initial state by the return spring 21.

In another embodiment of the invention shown in FIGS. 4 to 6, the return spring 21 is made of a thin horizontal plate of rubber and has a plurality of spiral slits 23. Further, in other embodiments of the present invention shown in FIGS. 7 to 9, a diaphragm-shaped thin rubber member without slits is used as the return spring 21, but the peripheral edge is not used without using a cylindrical mounting member. is directly attached to the supported object 13 by an annular member 22. Further, in other embodiments of the present invention shown in FIGS. 10 and 11, a mounting member 2 extending downward from the lower surface of the supported object 13 is provided.
1 with one end attached to 0 and the other end connected to rolling element 15
A return spring 21 consisting of a pair of metal coil springs is used. In addition, in this invention, the return spring 21 is not connected to the supported object 13 but is attached to the supporting body 1.
It may be configured to connect to 2.

As mentioned above, in the seismic isolation support device using the rolling elements 15, the present invention is extremely simple and inexpensive since the return spring 21 is provided to connect the rolling elements 15 to either the supported object 13 or the support 12. This structure has the effect that the rolling elements 15 can easily return to their predetermined positions after an earthquake.
