ポンプ損失低減装置を含むエンジンの吸気、排気
構造を示す略上面図であり、第２図は、第一次吸
気ポートおよび第二次吸気ポートの周辺の構成を
示す概念図である。また、第３図は、吸気弁のリ
フトカーブである。 １……第一次吸気通路、２……第二次吸気通路
、３……燃料噴射弁、４……第一次吸気ポート、
５……第二次吸気ポート、６……燃焼室、７……
第一吸気弁、８，９……排気ポート、１０……ス
ワールガイド壁。
ポンプ損失低減装置を含むエンジンの吸気、排気
構造を示す略上面図であり、第２図は、第一次吸
気ポートおよび第二次吸気ポートの周辺の構成を

Claims (1)
- すべての負荷に対して開放される第一次吸気通
路と低負荷時には閉じ、高負荷時には開く制御弁
を有する第二次吸気通路とを備え、第一次吸気通
路、第二次吸気通路をそれぞれ吸気弁を介して燃
焼室に通じさせる一方、低負荷時に第一次吸気通
路の吸気弁を高負荷時よりも早く閉じるようにリ
フトカーブを小さくしたエンジンにおいて、前記
第一次吸気通路の吸気弁近傍の燃焼室内に、該第
一次吸気通路の吸気弁の最大リフト量と実質的に
等しい高さのスワールガイド壁を設けたことを特
徴とするエンジンのポンプ損失低減装置。
