BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Ultra-high cleanliness is required in fields such as semiconductor industry, electronic industry, precision machinery industry, biotechnology, pharmaceutical industry, and hospitals. Clean spaces include clean rooms that clean the entire work environment, clean benches and clean booths that clean the work environment locally. Air cleaning devices that combine a blower and a filter to create such a clean space are already known. All of these conventional devices have extremely large thicknesses (depths), making them large and heavy as a whole. As a result, they generate a lot of noise, require a large installation space, and are not easy to install.

OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION An object of the present invention is to provide an air cleaning device that has extremely high collection efficiency, excellent air blowing performance, low noise, and is lightweight and thin. Another object of the present invention is to provide an air cleaning device that can provide a uniform air velocity distribution. Another object of the present invention is to provide an air cleaning device that requires significantly less installation space. Still another object of the present invention is to provide an air cleaning device that is extremely easy to replace and remove because the blower and filter are lightweight and thin.

As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, an air cleaning device 1 of the present invention includes a blower 3 housed in a housing 2 and an air filter 4 disposed in front of the blower 3. As shown in FIGS. Thickness of this blower 3 (Okuyuki)
is less than 1/2 that of the conventional type, and therefore its weight has been significantly reduced. Filter 4 is
It has a collection efficiency of 99.97% or more for 0.3 μm monodispersed DOP (dioctyl phthalate) particles. Its thickness is also less than 2/5 of the conventional model's 150mm. Such ultra-high performance air filters include, for example, HEPA
(HighEfficiencyParticulateAir) filter is present. A pre-filter 41 may be placed behind the blower 3 if necessary.

The airflow discharged from the blower 3 is directed to the housing 2.
In order to prevent a turbulent flow from colliding with the wall surface 5 of the housing 2, guide vanes 51 are provided with smooth curvature and in contact with both ends of the wall surface 5 of the housing 2 on the discharge side. The material of this guide vane 51 is as follows:
There is no need for it to be anything special, as long as it can withstand the wind pressure from the blower 3. Usually, a plastic plate or the like is used.

Since the airflow discharged from the discharge port 31 of the blower 3 is fast inside the blower and slow outside the blower, the dynamic pressure of the entire discharged airflow is non-uniform. While the air flow having such non-uniform dynamic pressure passes through a sufficiently long flow path, the dynamic pressure is gradually weakened and changed to static pressure. As a means to make the air flow path sufficiently long, for example, a blind plate 6 is installed in front of the blower 3 and behind the filter 4.
is placed. The blind plate 6 is arranged perpendicularly to the wall surface 5 of the housing 2 and with a predetermined gap 61 from the side surface 21 on the far side from the discharge port 31 of the blower 3. The air discharged from the outlet 31 of the blower 3 flows over the blind plate 6 along the wall surface 5 of the housing 2, passes through the gap 61 between the side surface 21 perpendicular to the wall surface 5, and the edge of the blind plate 6, It flows between the lower surface of the blind plate 6 and the filter 4. Discharge port 3 of blower 3
The airflow discharged from 1 is thus directed to the blind plate 6
While flowing along, its dynamic pressure is reduced and turns into static pressure. The airflow with a weakened dynamic pressure hits the entire back surface of the filter 4 uniformly and gently, and passes through the filter 4 while forming a uniform wind speed distribution.

As shown in FIG. 4, the blower 3 can be installed at an eccentric position within the housing 2 so that its discharge space 32 is wide. The airflow discharged from the blower outlet 31 flows out into the wide discharge space 32, thereby reducing its dynamic pressure and becoming a gentle airflow. Since this further enters the gap between the blind plate 6 and the back surface of the filter 4, a gentle and uniform air flow is supplied to the back surface of the filter 4.

Effects of the Invention The air cleaning device of the present invention is thus configured so that the flow path of the air blown out from the blower is sufficiently long. Therefore, even though the dynamic pressure of the airflow immediately after discharge is uneven, as it passes through the flow path, the dynamic pressure is gradually weakened and the airflow slowly passes over the entire surface of the filter while forming a uniform wind speed distribution. go. As a result, noise is reduced and air blowing performance is high. Furthermore, since an ultra-thin blower and an ultra-thin air filter are used, the entire device is lightweight and thin. Therefore, it is extremely easy to install the device and replace filters and the like. Since the installation space is small, it can be installed in a small work space with energy and resource conservation in mind, thereby contributing to energy and resource conservation. This device is particularly effective for clean bench use.
