に示すように、感熱記録紙3の表面側に、分解能
に応じた数の複数個の熱ペン1a,1b……を、
列状に配設してなるヘツド部4を感熱記録紙3の
送り方向Pと直交する方向に固定的に設け、デー
タに応じて熱ペン1a,1b……のうちいずれか
を選択的に発熱させる方式のものとが一般的であ
る。

メラ等で記録データを撮影するような場合に好都
合であると共に、記録紙表面上における記録瞬時
値に対応する的確な位置に必要なメモ等を書き込
むことも極めて容易に行えるようになつたのであ
る。しかも、棒状のヘツド部が記録紙の幅方向に
(記録紙の送り方向と直角方向に)固定されてい
るため、記録紙の幅全体に亘つて一様なテンシヨ
ンが加えられるから、記録紙がその送りの際に破
損されたりすることがなく、又、印字が不明瞭に
なるということもない。更に、熱ペンおよびそれ
を設けたヘツド部を記録紙の表面側に固定配置し
た従来構成のものに比べて、記録計全体を格段に
コンパクトで外観もすつきりとしたものにまとめ
あげることができ、また、記録紙のセツテイング
が取り外し操作も非常に容易に行える、という実
用上極めて有益な副次的効果をも発揮し得るに至
つたのである。
