Inside this seedling box, there is naturally seedling soil (commonly known as baked soil).
However, the present invention relates to a method and apparatus for producing seedling-raising soil that can be efficiently mass-produced and provided at low cost, and an example of its implementation will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. The details are as follows.

The sorting screen tube 3 shown in the drawing is provided with a heating prevention tube 5 on the inside to prevent the sorting screen tube 3 from being extremely heated and damaged, and a cover is provided on the outside of the sorting screen tube 3 to prevent heat from escaping. 6 is provided, and crushing blades 7 are provided at several locations inside the rotary processing cylinder 2 to crush the raw soil 1.
Care is taken to ensure that the material is crushed well.

In addition, since the drawing shows the rotary processing tube 2 provided in two stages, the selected seedling-raising soil 8 can be further subjected to drying treatment, heat sterilization treatment, and granulation treatment. (This is not limited to two stages, but may also be three or four stages.) In the figure, 9 is a conveyor, 10 is a raw soil hopper, and 1

Considering the air permeability, water permeability, and fertilizer adsorption ability, seedling raising soil should have grain size of 1 to 5 mm and water content of 15 to 25 mm.
% and free from contamination by bacteria. However, the original soil (clay red clay) excavated from the mountain,
It has a moisture content of 35-40% and is contaminated with bacteria. Therefore, the raw soil must be sterilized by heating (baking), drying, heat sterilization, and granulation to produce seedling-raising soil with a predetermined grain size and a predetermined moisture content.

In this regard, in the present invention, raw soil 1 is put into a rotating rotary processing cylinder 2, and while being transferred, it is heated and subjected to drying treatment, heat sterilization treatment, and granulation treatment,
Since the seedling growing soil 8 is produced by further performing a sorting process, the seedling growing soil 8 can be easily and efficiently manufactured continuously by simply putting the raw soil 1 into the rotary processing tube 2. In the sorting process during this manufacturing process, since the seedling growing soil 8 contains at least 15 to 25% water, the seedling growing soil 8 will adhere to the sorting screen tube 3, which will quickly cause clogging. There was a drawback that it was not possible to perform good sorting, which hindered mass production.

For this reason, each time a clog occurred, the work was interrupted and the clogging was repaired by tapping the sorting screen cylinder 3, but this was difficult and had the disadvantage of damaging the screen. In this respect, the present invention replaces the sorting screen tube 3 with the burner 4.
Since the seedling raising soil 8 is heated to prevent attachment of the seedling soil 8, clogging is prevented and good sorting is always performed.

Therefore, there is no interruption in work, which greatly improves work efficiency, and it has excellent features such as being able to mass-produce products and providing products at low prices.
