Tatami flooring made of such foam has advantages such as being thinner and lighter than conventional straw flooring, but it has insufficient ventilation, compression hardness, and compression recovery. Due to the small ratio, there were problems such as deformation due to long-term use.

るに至つた。 The purpose of the present invention is to provide a tatami floor that eliminates the drawbacks of the above-mentioned prior art. As a result of intensive research, we discovered that a tatami floor using an in-mold foam molded product obtained from pre-expanded polypropylene resin particles with a specified density has good properties, and completed the present invention.

ましい。 FIG. 1 shows a tatami floor 1 which is an embodiment of the present invention. This tatami floor 1 is made of a polypropylene resin foam molded layer 2, and has the same dimensions as a tatami floor made of ordinary straw or the like. This polypropylene foam molded layer 2 has a density of 0.01 obtained by filling a mold with pre-expanded polypropylene resin particles and heating and foaming them.
It is composed of a foam molded product with a weight of ~0.06g/cm 3 (JIS K 9767). The purpose of the present invention cannot be achieved with a foam molded product produced by ordinary extrusion molding or the like, because appropriate air permeability cannot be obtained. In addition, when the density is 0.01g/ cm3 , compression deformation is likely to occur.
During use, unevenness occurs on the floor surface, and if it exceeds 0.06 g/cm 3 , it not only increases the weight of the tatami mat, but also deteriorates workability, heat insulation, and breathability. Specific examples of the polypropylene resin used as the base material of the foam molding layer 2 include propylene homopolymer, ethylene-propylene random copolymer, and ethylene-propylene random copolymer.
Examples include propylene block copolymers, etc.
Ethylene-propylene random copolymers are particularly preferred.

It has good air permeability with an air permeability of 100cm3 air per second or less (JIS P 8117), and from 100m to
200m compression hardness index (value obtained by dividing compression hardness determined according to JIS K 6767 by density) and compression recovery rate of 80% or more (post-compression stress up to 4Kg/cm 2 at compression speed 10mm/min) (recovery rate after 10 minutes) and has moderate strength and elasticity.

きる。 FIGS. 2 and 3 show tatami floors 1, 1 which are other embodiments of the present invention. Tatami floor 1 in Figure 2
The tatami floor 1 shown in Fig. 3 is made by laminating a polypropylene resin foam molding layer 2 and a polystyrene foam layer 4, respectively. It is fixed with adhesive or the like. When using the polypropylene resin foam molded layer 2 in a laminated manner, the foam molded layer 2 should be 20% to 95% of the total thickness.
Furthermore, in order to fully exhibit the function of the foamed molded product 2, the ratio is preferably 50% to 95%, and it is preferable that the foamed molded product layer 2 is used as an upper layer.
In particular, a laminate with straw is preferred because air permeability is further improved. In addition, the tatami floor 1 of this invention is 3
It may consist of more than one layer, and as the laminate other than straw and polystyrene foam, polyethylene foam, cardboard, and woven fabric can be used.

It has good elasticity, has a small compression hardness index, and has a suitable hardness for a tatami floor, and has a high compression recovery rate, so it will not dent even when heavy objects are placed on it, and it is even better than traditional straw flooring. It has various advantages, such as being lighter in weight and easier to transport and transport.
