  1. 機関の筒内圧力に応じた信号を出力する筒内圧
    力センサと、所定クランク角度区間の筒内圧力を
    サンプリングするサンプリング手段と、サンプリ
    ングデータのうち筒内圧力の最大値近傍の圧力が
    大きい部分のデータを選択するデータ選択手段と
    、選択されたデータよりその統計量を算出する統
    計量算出手段とからなる内燃機関の燃焼状態検出
    装置。
