DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION As a conventional method for producing decorative materials by applying different coats, a method has been proposed in which two types of paints with good compatibility are used to form a flowing pattern. Furthermore, paints in which several types of colored particles are mixed are commercially available as multicolored paints, but all of these tend to have poor aesthetic appearance.

This invention eliminates the above-mentioned drawbacks,
That is, after adding a coloring agent to at least one of two relatively poorly compatible paints, one of the paints is applied or printed on the surface of the substrate, and while the paint is uncured, the other paint is mixed with the other paint. When forming a network pattern on the surface by applying or printing another paint with relatively poor compatibility, an appropriate pattern is applied to the surface while the paint forming the network pattern is not cured. This relates to a method for manufacturing a decorative material characterized by inhibiting the formation of a mesh pattern by printing, and the object is to provide at a low cost a decorative material having a very natural mesh pattern.

It is sufficient that one is a cationic modified water-soluble resin and the other is an anionic water-soluble resin. Also, even in the case of a combination of emulsion-type resins, one is an emulsion stable in methanol and the other is gelled in methanol. With such an emulsion, a mesh pattern can be formed.

In addition, as a method of printing a pattern to prevent a mesh pattern from forming in that area, one method is to print the mesh pattern by flexographic printing or textile printing before the mesh pattern area is completely cured. Methods that break the mesh pattern, or substances that inhibit the formation of the network pattern before it is formed, such as silicone resin, mineral oil, and solvents with relatively low surface tension (toluene, butanol, isopropyl alcohol, ethyl acetate, etc.) An example of this is a method of printing using a paint containing a liquid-producing agent such as methyl ethyl Kent, etc.).

In this invention, either a dye or a pigment can be used as a coloring agent, but for example, a dye that does not dissolve in the synthetic resin paint is added to the synthetic resin paint that is first applied, and this dye is applied later. If the dye has the property of being soluble in the synthetic resin paint that is applied, the dye will diffuse into the synthetic resin paint that is applied later, making it possible to obtain an extremely beautiful decorative material.

FIG. 1 is a plan view of a decorative material manufactured according to the present invention, and FIG. 2 is an enlarged sectional view taken along line A-A' in FIG. The transparent synthetic resin paint 3, which has relatively poor compatibility with the synthetic resin paint 2, is coated on the entire surface with a roll coater while it is still uncured.
When it is applied using a suitable coating machine such as a flow coater or a spray coating machine and then dried, a decorative material with a mesh pattern formed on the surface is obtained. Although we do not know the exact reason why this mesh-like pattern is formed, it is thought that because the two synthetic resin paints are relatively incompatible, the difference in surface tension may be at work. While the paint forming this network pattern is not cured, another synthetic resin paint 4 is applied to its surface.
After that, the top coat 5 is applied to the surface.
Paint. An anti-friction agent such as silica powder or alumina powder may be added to this top coat 5 to improve the abrasion resistance of the surface.

With the above structure, a natural mesh pattern is formed on the surface of the base material, and a slightly raised pattern with no mesh is formed on top of this mesh pattern, giving it a very elegant appearance. There is an effect that certain decorative materials can be manufactured by simply painting or printing without requiring any special means.

FIG. 3 is an enlarged sectional view taken along the line A-A' in FIG. 1 manufactured by another manufacturing method, and shows a synthetic resin paint 2,
A transparent synthetic resin paint 3, which has relatively poor compatibility with the synthetic resin paint 2, was applied in the same manner as in the embodiment shown in FIG.
During the formation, flexographic printing is performed in a pattern with another synthetic resin paint 4, water, or paint containing a liquid developer to prevent the formation of a mesh pattern in that part. When the paint contains a coloring agent, a colored concave pattern is formed as shown in the drawing. Further, if the paint is colorless and transparent, a simple concave pattern without a mesh pattern is formed.

When constructed as described above, a natural mesh pattern is formed on the surface of the base material, and within this mesh pattern, a concave pattern with no mesh is formed, creating a very elegant decorative material. A paint (viscosity 100,000 CPS) made by dispersing Pigment Yellow 13 in a resin made of 828 Ciel Petroleum) and polyamide was applied to the surface of a steel plate coated with a white base coat at a rate of 150 g/m2 using a reshin gun . Using a curtain coater, apply an isopropyl alcohol solution of polyvinyl acetate (viscosity 200 CPS) that is applied continuously and immediately colored pale red with Pigment Red 55.
Immediately after applying 50 g/m 2 , the methyl ethyl ketone solution was flexographically printed in a pattern and dried at 60° C. for 2 hours to obtain the desired decorative material.

[Example 15] Acrylic resin emulsion paint (viscosity 100 CPS) colored with Pigment Yellow 19 was applied by spray at 100 g/m 2 onto a white base-coated plywood, and the surface was immediately coated with UV-curable unsaturated paint. Spray polyester resin paint (viscosity 500CPS) to a particle size of 1 to 2 mm and apply it discontinuously.
g/m 2 was applied, and 3 minutes later, the network pattern that had been formed was broken by flexographic printing with a water-soluble acrylic resin paint containing a colorant, and 60 g/m2 was applied.
After drying at ℃ for 20 minutes, ultraviolet rays were irradiated for 15 seconds using a UV lamp with an output of 4KW to obtain the desired decorative material.

1. After adding a coloring agent to at least one of the two relatively poorly compatible paints, one of the paints is applied or printed on the surface of the substrate, and while the paint is uncured, the paint is mixed with the other paint. When forming a network pattern on the surface by applying or printing another paint with relatively poor compatibility, print an appropriate pattern on the surface while the paint forming the network pattern is not cured. A method for producing a decorative material, characterized by inhibiting the formation of a mesh pattern.
