外側面に補修塗装を施こした後オーブンcで塗料
を乾燥硬化させ外面補修塗装蓋を作成しこれを製
缶工程dで缶胴の1端に巻締めて缶体を形成さ
せ、更に通常の缶内面補修塗装工程eで缶内面側
を補修塗装し、これをオーブンfで乾燥硬化処理
を施して缶体の内面及び蓋外面が補修塗装された
缶体を得ていた。

駆動回転するロール6、該ロール6上に缶体Cを
供給するターレツト7、ロール6上で回転駆動さ
れる缶体Cの内面に出没可能に設けた塗装ガン8
aを備えた塗装機8並びに缶体Cの蓋外面を塗装
する塗装ガン9aを備えた塗装機9からなり、塗
装ガン9aの外周にはこれを囲繞させて設けた塗
料の回収並びに排気機構10と接続するチヤンバ
ー11を備えると共に、塗装ガン9aの前方にこ
れから吐出される塗料の広がり、巾等の形状を規
制し缶蓋外面の塗装部の塗膜厚の均一化を図り補
修効果を高め塗装必要部以外への塗料の付着を防
止する効果を有するリング状の規制枠12を備え
て成る。該規制枠12は第3図に示すごとくチヤ
ンバー11の前端縁を折曲げて構成した。この場
合その前方に取り外し自在の環状の補助規制枠1
2aを重ねれば塗料によりこれが汚れたとき適宜
取換えることが出来、更にサイズ或は枠や形状の
異なる補助規制枠12aを用いれば、規制巾を変
ることも出来る。

と両塗装ガン8a,9aから塗料が噴出して回転
中の缶体Cに塗装を施す。このとき缶体Cの内面
を塗装する塗装ガン8aはその先端のノズル方
向、形状等を変えることにより、また必要に応じ
て複数の塗布ガンを用いることにより缶体Cの蓋
内面のみ或は缶胴内面のみ、更には缶内面全体に
行き渡つてこれを塗装することができる。一方蓋
外面に対向する塗装ガン9aからの塗料は規制枠
12に規制され、蓋外面の塗装必要部に塗布され
余剰の塗料は排気装置10側に回収される。従つ
て蓋外側面以外に塗料が附着して缶体Cの外面を
汚したり輸送ガイドシユート等を汚す等の不都合
がない。

装機8と別個に回転ロール6によつて駆動回転す
る缶体Aの外面に臨む塗装ガン9aを備えた外面
塗装機9を設けたものであるから従来装置のごと
く缶蓋に別に補修塗装処理を施す一連の装置を省
略出来て装置全体を小型化並に能率化出来、而も
外面塗装機9にはその塗装ガン9aを囲繞して排
気装置10に接続するチヤンバ11と該チヤンバ
11の前面に位置して缶蓋の外面に対向する規制
枠12とを設けたものであるから、缶体の外周面
その他の不必要部分に塗料が附着してこれを汚し
たり缶体の輸送ガイドシユート等を汚す等の不都
合がなく更にその外部の塗装ガン9aによる塗装
は周縁部が中心部より厚膜になる傾向にあるが、
規制枠12により周縁部の一部を規制し或いは遮
蔽することで、かゝる厚膜部分が生じることを防
いで均一膜厚の塗装が出来る等の効果を有する。
