Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は容積型膨脹機関の内外両ローター間に
形成される膨脹室両側のシール装置に関するもの
である。本願の対象とする容積型膨脹機関は、例
えば地熱井より噴出する気水混合物、工場等にお
ける熱排水、太陽熱で加熱された加熱水等、蒸気
と熱水との2相流体の有する熱エネルギーを機械
的エネルギーに変換する膨脹機に係り、第1図に
示す如く、円筒状車室1内を回転する外部ロータ
ー2の内側を摺動内接するトロコイド曲線を輪郭
とする内部ローター3があり、該内部ローターと
包絡関係にある曲面で形成された外部ローター内
面との間に形成される膨脹室の両側をローター端
縁に装着したシール片によつてシールするもの
で、この種の技術は例えば特開昭56−60802「回転
流体機械」に記載されている。これは、互いに異
なる速度でそれぞれの固定された回転中心線のま
わりに回転する異軸ロータの包絡関係摺動面によ
り膨脹回転室が形成され、一方のローターが他方
のローターと一体に側面ケーシングの方に、相隣
り合う頂点領域に対向する部位間を接続するよう
にサイドシールが設けられている回転流体機械で
ある。而して本発明のものは該サイドシールに関
連するもので、本発明によつて確実にシール効果
をあげ得るものである。

ている給水路7に送られる。給水路7はローター
の周縁近辺において回転軸に平行に設けられた給
水路7′に接続し、給水路7′両端において内蔵す
るピストン10を押圧する。ピストン10にはシ
ール片6が接続している。11は逃し弁で給水路
7′の空気抜きである。

シール水の遠心力が作用するようにしたので、膨
脹室のシールはローターの回転数が上昇するにつ
れ確実になり、機関の高回転時の効率が極めて良
好になるという効果がある。
