Claims (2)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. （１）図形、文字、記号等の画像データを格納した画像
    データメモリ手段より、変換しようとする注目画素対応
    のビットデータ、および、画像パターンにおいて注目画
    素に隣接する少なくとも８個の画素のそれぞれに対応す
    るビットデータ、を参照パターンとしてこれを、注目画
    素を順次に更新して順次に読み出す画像パターンデータ
    読み出し手段； 前記参照パターンより画像上の１画素の突き出しや欠除
    を検出し、これを低倍率で拡大し、該突き出しや欠除で
    ない画素は原１画素を数画素に拡大する高倍率でデータ
    を拡大する拡張データ発生手段；および、 該拡張データを格納する拡張データメモリ手段； を備える画像パターンデータ拡張装置。
  2. （２）拡張データ発生手段は、前記突き出しや欠除の画
    素のビットデータは２画素の、突き出しや欠除でない画
    素のビットデータは、２画素×２画素のビットデータに
    拡張する前記特許請求の範囲第（１）項記載の画像パタ
    ーン拡張装置。
