た。 Plastic band-like members such as plastic films and sheets are widely used as various products after being subjected to so-called secondary processing such as printing, bag making, perforation, and perforation. The manufacturing of the band-shaped member and the secondary processing are performed in separate processes. In other words, a plastic strip is produced as a so-called raw material with a roll length of 300 m to 2,000 m and a weight of 30 kg to 40 kg for ease of handling, and this plastic strip is attached to various secondary processing machines to perform secondary processing. It is something. The processing speed of plastic strip-shaped members in secondary processing machines is usually 30 m/min ~
The speed is approximately 30 to 80 m/min even in bag making processing, which takes a relatively long processing time.
Therefore, processing for one roll of the original fabric is completed in 5 to 10 minutes, and it is necessary to frequently replace the original plastic strip member. Since this replacement work required the processing machine to be temporarily stopped, not only did the replacement work require a lot of effort, but the processing was frequently interrupted, resulting in a decrease in productivity. Ta. Furthermore, it has disadvantages such as the frequent occurrence of substandard products due to replacement of the original fabric.

Then, as shown in FIG. 1, the operational strip member 11 is guided through a predetermined path to a processing machine (not shown), while the starting end side of the preliminary strip member 29 is held by the gripping mechanism 3.
Hold it at 8. In this state, the supply of the strip member 11 to the processing machine is continued, and the end of the raw material 6 for operation is as follows.
It is detected by a photoelectric detector 12 which detects the passage of the end end. Note that the cutter 14 is used to cut off a bent portion or a tape-attached portion at the starting end of the original fabric 7.

The moving block 40 of No. 8 also advances toward the strip member 11, and the starting end side edge of the spare plastic strip member 29, which is held between the gripping roller 41 and the movable roller 42, and the movable strip member 11 are brought into pressure contact. Ru. At this time, the welding belt 37 is heated and rotated, so that the two strip members 11 and 29 are welded over the entire width in the width direction at the same time as the pressure welding, but the welding belt 37 is not rotated during welding. As a result, a sufficient width of the welded portion in the direction of feeding of the belt-shaped members can be obtained, and the welding of the belt-shaped members 11 and 29 can be ensured.

The edge grip of 9 is open. Also, when welding by the welding belt 37, the welding belt 37
Since the amount of rotation of the belt 37 is from several mm to about 10 mm at most, the belt-like member 11 stretched between the movable roller 15 and the movable roller 22 and the guide roller 18 and the stopper 17 is free from wrinkles caused by the rotation of the belt 37. There will be no adverse effects such as generation or disconnection.

When the moving plate 26 moves to a predetermined position, the rollers 21, 22, 21A, and 22A are no longer located below the strip members 11 and 29, as shown in FIG. In this state, the rotary arm 5 is reversed by operating the handle 10, and the positions of the spare roll 7 and the used working roll 6 are switched by a so-called turret method. It is assumed that the function of the photoelectric detector 12 is stopped during the switching operation.

In the gripping mechanism 38, the lever 47 is operated to separate the gripping roller 41 and the movable roller 42, and the starting edge of a new original fabric is inserted between these rollers 41, 42. When the lever 47 is released, the movable roller 42 is moved by the action of the compression spring 40.

Since they are spaced apart from each other, they do not come into contact with the strip-shaped member 11, and as a result, it is possible to prevent scratches or the like from occurring on the strip-shaped members 11 and 29.

2, the drive roller 13 is stopped and the stopper 17 is moved to the guide roller 18.
After that, the moving block 40 and the slide piece 33 move toward each other to press and weld the starting end of the spare strip member 29 to the operating strip member 11, that is, at the time of welding. ,
The movable band member 11 is maintained at a constant tension by the driving roller 13 and roller 21, the guide roller 18 and the stopper 17 on both sides of the welding part, so that welding can be performed reliably, and the movable block 40 and Since the slide pieces 33 come close to each other, no unreasonable force is applied to the strip member 11, and the welded portion can be neatly finished.

できる。 Further, since the gripping by the gripping roller 41 and the movable roller 42 in the gripping mechanism 38 is performed by pressure contact between the rollers, the gripping is ensured, and the gripping is automatically released when the movable block 40 is raised, so that after welding It is possible to reliably prevent a situation in which the edge of the band-shaped member 29 is inadvertently pulled.

Since the welding belt 37 made of plastic is rotated during welding, not only does the melted plastic not adhere to the welding belt 37, but also a sufficient welding width is obtained, so that welding is performed reliably, and the welding is performed reliably. This has the effect of ensuring that switching is performed reliably.
