Claims (1)
- 排気系に、排気ターボ過給機における排気ター
ビンを迂回する排気バイパス通路と、内燃機関に
対する過給圧が高くなつたとき排気ガスを前記排
気バイパス通路に流すようにしたウエストゲート
弁とを設けて成る排気ターボ過給式内燃機関にお
いて、前記ウエストゲート弁を、当該ウエストゲ
ート弁によつて排気タービンへの通路を遮断でき
るように構成すると共に、このウエストゲート弁
に、制動時において排気タービンへの通路を全閉
にして排気バイパス通路を全開とするように作動
するための作動手段を設ける一方、前記排気バイ
パス通路に、制動時において閉じるようにした排
気ブレーキ弁を設けたことを特徴とする排気ター
ボ過給式内燃機関の排気ブレーキ装置。
