Claims (1)
運転速度範囲に応じて形状を設定された第1のカ
ムと第2のカムとを一体的に連設してなるカム軸
と、燃焼室の吸気ポート或いは排気ポートに設置
され、ばね手段により常時閉弁付勢されると共に
前記カムにより開弁駆動される弁と、前記第1の
カムに摺接し該カムの揚程を前記弁に伝達する第
1の伝達部材と、前記第2のカムに周設し該カム
の揚程を前記弁に伝達する第2の伝達部材と、前
記第1、第2の両伝達部材間の連結、非連結を選
択する連結装置とを有する内燃機関の弁作動時期
切換装置であつて、 前記第1、第2両伝達部材の少なくともいずれ
か一方に設けられたガイド孔に出没自在に摺合す
る連結部材と、 前記一方の伝達部材に設けられ、前記連結部材
を常時没入方向に弾発付勢する第1の付勢手段と
、 前記連結部材を所定の条件のもとに於て突出付
勢する第2の付勢手段と、 前記両伝達部材のいずれか他方に設けられた前
記連結部材の突出部の受容部とを有することを特
徴とする内燃機関の弁作動時期切換装置。 (2) 前記第1の付勢手段が磁力によるものであ
