Claims (1)
- ポンプボデー１に回転可能に駆動軸３を支持し
、該駆動軸３のポンプ室２側の一端にインペラ４
を設け、他端に内燃機関内部の駆動系に係合する
駆動ギヤー６を設けて、内燃機関動力により冷却
水を内燃機関へ供給する内燃機関用ウオーターポ
ンプにおいて、前記駆動軸３をポンプボデー１の
軸孔１３に回転可能に直接支持し、前記インペラ
４とポンプボデー１との間に設けたメカニカルシ
ール５の背後にオイルシール７を設け、該オイル
シール７のさらに背後に環状空隙部８を形成し、
前記軸孔１３に環状空隙部８からポンプボデー１
端面に伸びる溝９を形成すると共に、前記ポンプ
ボデー１端面に、駆動ギヤー６に供給される潤滑
油を前記溝９へ導く切欠き１０を形成し、さらに
前記ポンプボデー１に環状空隙部８の潤滑油を外
部へ排出するドレン油路１２を形成したことを特
徴とする内燃機関用ウオーターポンプ。
