The disadvantage of printers is that they are battery-powered, and their power consumption is quite large. Therefore, an effective winding force that does not use a motor is desirable.

Further, the printed roll paper is moved by pressing the roll paper against the rotation transmission roller in six perpendicular directions by its own weight or a spring, and the roll paper is wound up. It is equipped with rollers.

The rotation transmission roller installed at the top of this roller is in pressure contact with the roll paper of the feeding roller due to the force applied by the take-up roller described in section 1 and π, so it rotates due to friction. . Further, above the feed roller, a take-up roller L presses against the printed roll paper using its own weight or the force of a spring, and rotates due to friction, thereby winding up the roll paper. It is.

In Figure (a), a frame 2 is fixedly provided in a part of a printer 1, and a notch 2a is provided in a side plate of the frame 2, and a feed roller 3 is inserted into the notch 2a and supported in a freely rotatable manner. In addition, the frame 2 is provided with a notch 2b above the superposition of the feed roller 3, and a rotation transmission roller 5 and a winding roller 6 are inserted therein and onto the rotation transmission roller 5, respectively. Support in a free and vertically movable state. That is, the delivery roller 3 and the rotation transmission roller 5, and the rotation transmission roller 5 and the storage roller 6, are supported so as to contact and rotate, respectively. However, if necessary, the right-handling roller 6 is urged in the opposite direction by a spring 6a, as shown in FIG. 6(b).

A guide plate 8 is provided to press and guide the roller at both ends, and a roller support 7 is attached to the guide plate 8 at a certain angle. Furthermore, three idle rollers 9 are attached to the support 7.
10 and 11 are rotatably supported on one mountain of 1'. The mounting positions of the three guide rollers 9, 10 and 11 are such that the roll paper 4b fed out from the feeding roller 3 first passes through the dry side of the guide roller 9 and descends almost vertically.
It contacts the side surface of the guide roller 10 and descends.

The rotation transmission roller 5 rotates in the direction of arrow C due to frictional force, and the rotational force is further transmitted to the take-up roller 6 that is in pressure contact with the rotation transmission roller 5, causing it to rotate in the direction of arrow l). . Note that the pressure force at these two locations is generated by their own weight when the rotation transmission roller 5 and the take-up roller 6 are moved perpendicularly to each other, but if the force is insufficient, , is biased by a spring 6a shown in FIG. 1(b) to increase the force.

Both are non-power-supply methods that utilize the feeding force of the printer's platen. Compared to motor-driven systems, this method has a significantly simpler mechanism and is applicable to portable printers powered by dry batteries. When doing so, power consumption can be significantly reduced, and the effect is significant.
