Abstract
PURPOSE: To effectively collect heat by arranging a heat-accumulation layer at a heat medium channel at an upstream side in the flow direction of a heat medium of heat transfer equipment. CONSTITUTION: Heat transfer equipment 2 consisting of a number of heat transfer tubes is arranges inside a waste heat boiler. A heat-accumulation layer 6 is arranged halfway to an introduction duct 4 that is a heat medium channel at an upstream side in the flow direction of the heat medium of the heat transfer equipment 2. With the heat-accumulation layer 6, a heat medium 3 is an exhaust gas where temperature fluctuates greatly as in the exhaust gas being delivered from a batch-type furnace such as an electrical furnace, one portion of the amount of heat is absorbed and accumulated when temperature is high, and on the contrary, the accumulated amount of heat is discharged when the temperature is low, thus making smooth the temperature of the exhaust gas that flows toward the heat transfer equipment 2. Therefore, by using the exhaust gas being discharged from the batch-type furnace in the waste heat boiler, the heat can be effectively collected.
