Abstract

PURPOSE:To allow the complete combustion of solid fuel primarily comprising waste plastic by providing a grate rotating mechanism comprising, among others, a rack formed on the inner side of the grate circumference and a pinion engaged with the rack. That is, there will be no deficiency of air and no area of incomplete combustion, and so, the combustion temperature can be stabilized. Further, as the fuel can be uniformly spread, there will be no uneven combustion even if the primary air quantity from air holes 2 of the grate 1 is reduced, thus allowing a low air/fuel ratio for complete combustion of solid fuel.
