Abstract
PURPOSE: To protect a supercooling heat exchanger against damage by supercooling the refrigerant constantly through heat exchange with a liquid heat storage medium even if it is solidified in a heat storage tank upon application of cold heat. CONSTITUTION: A main refrigeration circuit 8 is arranged with a supercooling heat exchanger 3 and since switching of refrigerant is not required between heat storage recovery cooling operation and normal cooling operation, fluctuation in the indoor air conditioning load can be dealt with operation/stoppage of a pump 11 and the state of refrigerant is stabilized. Since a heat storage tank 9 is separated from a heat storage coil 14a utilizing cold heat stored therein, heat storage medium is not resolidified on the outer circumference of the heat exchanger 3 at the time of storing cold heat again. Consequently, the coil 14a is protected and the entire reliability is enhanced. Since the heat storage medium is circulated from the tank 9 to the heat exchanger 3 by means of the pump 11, utilization rate of stored cold heat can be regulated depending on the indoor air conditioning load by controlling the circulation.
