Abstract
PURPOSE: To perform heating dehumidification operation by providing a means for switching a compressor where a single compressor section is coupled with a single drive source to double stage compression, single stage compression or parallel delivery thereby effecting operation with high compression ratio and varying the capacity over a wide range. CONSTITUTION: Refrigerant delivered from a first compressor section 4 is passed through a solenoid two-way valve 18, a four-way valve 14, an indoor side heat exchanger 25, a pressure reducing circuit 24 and outdoor side heat exchangers 21a, 21b and returned back to the suction side of the first compressor section 4. Refrigerant delivered from a second compressor section 5 is passed through an enclosed case 1 and a delivery pipe 5b and then combined with refrigerant from the first compressor section 4 thus constituting a heating cycle through two cylinder parallel operation. When the solenoid two-way valves 17-19, 27, 28 are operated to operate only the first compressor section 4, a low capacity heating cycle is constituted. In case of high temperature blowing, double stage compression operation is performed and the refrigerant compressed at the first compressor section 4 is sucked through the solenoid two-way valve 19 to the second compressor section 5.
