Abstract

PURPOSE:To form a conductive base body which exhibits a specified potential in a soln. with silver paste molded to a desired shape by providing the conductive base body coated with a mixture composed of the silver paste contg. silver powder and adhesive agent and silver chloride powder to the titled electrode. CONSTITUTION:The mixture 2 is prepd. by mixing 0.006g silver chloride powder with 0.1g silver paste and is thoroughly mixed to attain homogeneity. The content of the silver chloride powder is preferably 0.01-50pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. silver paste. The curing temp. of the silver paste is preferably from room temp. (20 deg.C) to 250 deg.C. The mixture 2 is coated on the tip of a silver wire 1. The silver wire coated with the mixture 2 is then heated and cured for 30min at 150 deg.C in an electric oven, by which the reference electrode is completed.
