Abstract

PURPOSE:To stabilize an image unaffected by environmental conditions, such as temperature or humidity, by incorporating a binder resin and an aluminum complex compd. of an optionally substituted aromatic hydroxycarboxylic acid in a toner. CONSTITUTION:The toner contains the binder resin and the aluminum complex compd. of the optionally substituted aromatic hydroxycarboxylic acid, thus permitting said complex compd. of the light metal aluminum to be not only thermally stable with the lapse of time when used in combination with the binder resin, but also to exhibit superior electric charge controlling performance under various environmental conditions, and to be superior in durability, and consequently, always stable images to be obtained at the time of repeated uses.
