Abstract

PURPOSE:To lighten the weight of a facsimile equipment and to improve an assembling work by forming a main body frame with synthetic resin, and making a printing part, an original reading part, and a driving mechanism mounted on the main body frame separate units respectively. CONSTITUTION:The titled equipment is provided with a main body frame 19 made of synthetic resin, which has a recording paper containing recessed part on one end and an original guiding wall on the other end and a printing unit 23 to be mounted on the frame 19 by pressing a thermal head against a platen roller supported by the frame 19 rotatablly, an the original-read sensor unit 22 mounted on the main body frame 19 while oppositing a paper feeding roll to the original guide wall of the frame 19 and the drive mechanism unit 24 mounted on the side surface of the frame 19 that drives the platen roll and the paper feed roll. Thus, the weight of the facsimile equipment is lightened and the assembling work is made easier.
