The conventional method for securing covered wires involves stripping the covering and attaching a clamp to the conductor, which requires attaching an insulating cover and taping. The reason for stripping this coating is that when clamping from above the covered wire, the coating will be damaged and the component force in the circumferential direction will be maximum at the circumferential end of the clamping piece. In order to prevent damage that would cause the coating to protrude in the circumferential direction or a decrease in clamping force due to fatigue, this is a measure that is unavoidable since it is not possible to apply a strong clamping force. Note that the above component force in the circumferential direction is 0 at the center of the clamp when there are two pieces, but
It is maximum at both ends, and the component force toward the center is 0.
becomes. Therefore, the coatings on both ends are pushed out in the circumferential direction, ie, on the mating surfaces, and are damaged.

This method is time-consuming and cumbersome, and requires a peeler, a cover, tape, etc. Additionally, the taping work required skill and was subject to human error. Furthermore, once the coating is removed in the wrong position, it is extremely difficult to correct it.
If the taping was not done properly, rainwater would enter through the taping, causing so-called stress corrosion, which could cause wires to break. It was also uneconomical considering that it required tools and labor.

Therefore, the present invention solves the above-mentioned drawbacks of the conventional methods when securing a covered electric wire, and solves the above-mentioned problems caused by clamping from above the covering without peeling off the covering of the wire. The object of the present invention is to provide a method for easily securing a wire, and the present invention aims to provide a method for securing a wire with ease, and includes four or more wedge-shaped wedges that engage with the main body in a wedge-like manner and surround the covered wire symmetrically with respect to the center of the wire. A top is provided, and by pulling the main body in the direction of the wire, the wedge-shaped top is pressed from the surroundings in the radial direction of the wire to grip and hold the wire.

As shown in Fig. 1, the clamp bodies 1, 1 have a nearly symmetrical shape that is divided into two vertically, and have a connecting part 3 at one end to which a connecting rod 2 is attached for connecting to an insulator chain (not shown) or the like. For example, a hinge part 4 is provided at both ends to join the two halves, and a hinge pin 5 is passed through the hinge part. The clamp book is formed with a central cavity 6 for passing a wedge-shaped top, as best shown in the cross-sectional view of FIG.
The central cavity has a cross section, is shaped like a groove 7, and is tapered with a longitudinal slope so that it can receive four wedge-shaped pieces 8.

When four wedge-shaped tops 8 are used, as in the illustrated example, the wedge-shaped tops 8 have an outer side 9 with a longitudinal slope corresponding to the longitudinal slope of the central cavity 6 of the clamp body 1. , is adapted to engage the clamp body in a wedge shape, and the inner surface 10 forms a part of the cylindrical surface (approximately 1/4 circumference) so as to be in close contact with the outer periphery of the covering of the covered electric wire. . Furthermore, as best shown in Figure 2, a wedge-shaped top 8
has a cross-sectional shape that is mortise-like, and the outer side 9 has a concave shape in the center, and this dovetail tenon corresponds to the dovetail groove 7 of the central cavity 6 of the clamp body 1, and is closely attached to this dovetail groove. shaped to engage. As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the four wedge-shaped pieces 8 are provided with a retaining ring 11 at the end protruding from the clamp body near the large diameter end, and the retaining ring 11 engages with the groove 12 of the piece 8. This prevents the wedge-shaped tops 8 from shifting in the vertical direction, and also prevents the pieces from falling apart when the wedge-shaped tops are removed.
It is preferable that the top is loosely connected to the wedge-shaped top 8 by a pin 13 or the like in a manner that allows the top to move in the radial direction. Although not limited to the following shape structures, the fourth
As shown in the figure, the retaining ring 11 preferably takes the shape of a pair of substantially semicircular arcs connected at one end by a hinge 14 and tightened at the other end by a connecting bolt 15 and a nut 16.

The wire retaining method of the present invention uses the above-described clamp body and wedge-shaped tops, and attaches the wire W (the second Arrange the points symmetrically (the point where the center line of the electric wire passes) along the outer circumference of the
Insert into the central cavity of the clamp body 1 together with the electric wire.

Therefore, the electric wire is pressed and held from four turns.

As described above, since the tightening force is applied from the periphery toward the center of four or more pieces, the pressure applied to the coating at the ends in the arc direction of the pieces is such that the center direction, which is the tightening direction, is relative to the pressing direction. The direction is 45°.
Therefore, the center-direction component force at the end is √2/2=0.7 of the pressing force, and the circumferential direction component is also 0.7 of the pressing force, which is not very large. Therefore,
There is almost no protrusion of the coating between the mating surfaces,
On the other hand, for example, when using two tops, the circumferential ends of the tops are covered with relatively soft coatings such as synthetic resin or rubber (compared to the conductor of the electric wire), and the tightening The component force of the pressing force in the center direction becomes 0, and the component force in the circumferential direction increases to the same value as the pressing force. Therefore, the end coating deforms and becomes two pieces. There is no defect such as protrusion between the parts, and therefore, the clamping can be carried out reliably and easily without causing large deformation of the covering in this part and loosening the clamp. Since the coating is held in place without being peeled off, there is no need for the trouble, hassle, and inconvenience of removing the coating as described above. Even if the clamp is installed in the wrong position, by striking only the wedge-shaped top in the direction of arrow a, the top can easily separate from the clamp body, so the clamping can be loosened. Therefore, it is convenient for temporary tightening during clamping.

線に対し最も好適である。
As described above, the retaining method of the present invention is most suitable for coated electric wires.
