Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve responsiveness of a power generating system to a load applied thereto by providing a passage provided with a heat exchanger which returns a part of evaporized fuel sent to a refining part from a mixed liquid evaporating part to a mixed liquid tank through circulation amount regulating valve according to a battery load. CONSTITUTION:A mixed liquid within a fuel tank T is introduced into a fuel refining unit RF through an opening/closing valve 11 by means of a pump 6, and a fixed amount of the mixed liquid is evaporized by an evaporizer 7 and overheater 8, then distributed to a refining catalysis layer 5 and the tank T by means of a distributor 12. The distributor 12 and the tank T are communicated with each other through a circulation passage 14, and a part of the evaporized fuel is circulated to the tank T by controlling a circulation amount regulating valve 13 according to a battery load, while the rest is refined through refining catalysis layer 5, thereby fuel gas in response to the load is supplied to a cell FC. Further when a heat exchanger 15 is provided on a circulation flow 14, it is advantageous to an improvement of fuel efficiency and operation performance at a cool place and at the time of winter season.
