Abstract

PURPOSE:To use an inexpensive means to control a cooking device with high precision by providing a high-frequency heating means, a feed switching means to electrical heating, a changeover means, and a commercial current detecting means, and next by controlling the switching according to information of detected currents so as to perform constant current controlling of the feed. CONSTITUTION:When a side of a high-frequency boosting transformer 5 is selected by a changeover means 7, a voltage wave form of a capacitor 3 is full-wave rectified with less smoothness, and a high voltage is generated on a secondary side by a semiconductor switching element 6, and an on-and-off ratio of the element 6 is regulated to perform a constant output control. Further, a primary current is detected by a means 10, and it is kept constant by using a controlling means 19 to control an on time. When a side of an electric heater 8 is selected by the changeover means 7, also the element 6 is controlled to keep the primary current value constant by the controlling means 19. Since the primary current is aimed to perform a constant current control in this composition, the voltage control can be performed stably without effects of fluctuation in a power source voltage, so that cooking performance is improved. A temperature in a heating chamber can be also made constant without a temperature thermistor.
