Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve protection effect, designing effect and the like in the wheel cover in the caption for covering a rim provided in an automobile disk wheel by integrally attaching, to the wheel cover, an annular body comprising a rising edge and a tongue piece which engage with the outside and inside of the flange of the rim, respectively. And then, in the annular body 7, there are provided a tongue piece 71 divided into plural parts and a rising edge 72 surrounding the periphery of the flange 31 of the rim 3. In addition, a groove 711 is formed in the tongue piece 71, and further, an annular spring 2 is fitted into the groove 711 so that the tongue piece 71 is pressed in such a direction as to radially open. Therefore, insertion of the flange 31 between the tongue piece 71 and the rising edge 72 makes it possible to fit the flange 31 with the aid of the pressing force of the annular spring 2.
