Abstract

PURPOSE:To make the flow control of engine cooling water easily controllable by connecting the flow-in and flow-out tubes of the engine cooling water to a bearing part which rotatably supports the support shaft of a heat exchanger in an air conditioning duct and by arranging an opening/closing valve in the support shaft. CONSTITUTION:When a temperature setting means is operated during heating operation, a heater core 40, or a heat exchanger, is rotated around a rotating shaft 48 by a driving shaft 49 according to the set temperature. A flow adjusting valve 50 is adjusted to the opening corresponding to the rotating angle of a valve body 51 which rotates together with the heater core 40. In this way, the quantity of the engine cooling water corresponding to the rotating angle of the heater core 40 is fed into the suction side tank 41a of an upper tank 41 from a flow-in tube 56 through a flow-in port 56a and a suction port 52. Then, the engine cooling water flows to a lower tank 42 through plural titanium tubes 43 and is fed to a flow-out tube 57 from the delivery side tank 41b of an upper tank 41 through a delivery port 53 and a flow-out port 57a.
