CONSTITUTION:One and more of plants of the family Rutaceae such as Phellodendron amurense Rupr., Phellodendron amurense rupr. var. sachalinense Fr. Schem., Chinese Phellodendron amurense Rupr., or Formosan Phellodendron amurense Rupr. is sufficiently extracted with an organic solvent or a hydrous organic solvent or water by a conventional procedure at room temperature or under heating. Then the extraction residue is filtered off, the solvent is distilled away from the filtrate or the filtrate is concentrated to give an active ingredient, which is prepared alone into an agent or mixed with a carrier and an auxiliary and prepared into an agent.
