Abstract
PURPOSE:To widen a photofogging latitude and to increase an inter-image effect (IIE) by providing a layer which contains a photosensitive silver halide emulsion and DIR compd. and does not substantially form color images adjacently to at least one emulsion layer or between at least one emulsion layers with a non-photosensitive layer in-between. CONSTITUTION:The layer which contains the photosensitive silver halide emulsion and the DIR compd. and does not substantially form the color images is provided adjacently to at least one emulsion layer or between at least one emulsion layers with the non-photosensitive layer in-between. Namely, the max. density after the developing process of the layer which contains the DIR compd. and the photosensitive silver halide emulsion, i.e., the DIR layer is <=0.3, more preferably <=0.2, further preferably <=0.1 and more particularly preferably <=0.3 transmission density. The direct position silver halide color photographic sensitive material having the wide photofogging latitude and has the large IIE is thereby obtd.
