Claims (1)
- 触媒が担持された触媒担体の端面をリテーナを
介してケースに保持させ、前記触媒担体の上流側
および下流側に設けられた隔壁によつて触媒コン
バータ内の排気ガス通路を２つに区画したデユア
ル排気系用触媒コンバータにおいて、前記ケース
を、排気ガスの流れ方向に対して垂直方向に２分
割可能な構造とし、分割される各ケースに、排気
通路を区画する第１の隔壁を形成するとともに前
記リテーナを保持する保持部を形成し、前記リテ
ーナに、前記各ケースの第１の隔壁に密着可能な
第２の隔壁を形成したことを特徴とするデユアル
排気系用触媒コンバータ。
