本の回転軸の一端を回転自在に支承する側板を設
け、リボンを両端から巻回状態で保持してそれぞ
れ前記回転軸に嵌合される一対のスプールを有す
るリボンカセツトを設け、一端が前記側板に保持
されて前記リボンを供給側の前記スプールから印
字部に案内する案内軸を設け、前記リボンを間に
して対向する発光素子と受光素子とを有してこの
案内軸の上流側の位置で一端が前記側板に固定さ
れた検出器を設け、前記検出器の上流側の近傍に
位置して前記リボンに当接する回動支点と前記案
内軸の下流側の近傍に位置して前記リボンに当接
する当接部とを有して前記発光素子及び前記受光
素子の間及び前記案内軸の外周に前記リボンを直
線状に導くリボンガイドを前記リボンカセツトに
回動自在に設け、一端が前記側板に固定されて前
記回転軸と前記スプールとの嵌合時に前記リボン
ガイドに当接してこのリボンガイドを前記リボン
から退避させる押圧体を設けたことを特徴とする
