Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a covering yarn having excellent flexibility and touch, not causing heat degradation of an elastic stretch yarn even after dyeing, having excellent elastic properties and a deep color tone by winding and covering the elastic stretch yarn being a core yarn with a specific polyester multifilament yarn. CONSTITUTION: An elastic stretch yarn (preferably a polyurethane-based elastic yarn) being a core yarn is wound and covered with a polyester multifilament yarn composed of a polyethylene terephthalate having 0.4-0.55 ηsp/C solution viscosity and <=0.2 denier single filament fineness to give a covering yarn providing a delicate clothing of thin cloth.
