Abstract

PURPOSE: To implement both new or re-roofing, and ensure flashing by forming a core-wood into a cross-sectional configuration capable of being crossed over an existing batten seam part, and integrating surface materials for a core-wood and roof through seam welding. CONSTITUTION: A leaf spring-like sliding plate 6 with a welding tongue strip 8 set upright thereon is disposed in the fitting groove 5 of a core-wood 1. The core-wood 1 are arranged at suitable distances in a manner extending in the stream direction of a roof; which is then fastened to a main house (b) by screws (c), and an underlying material (d) is put on the main house (b) between the core-wood 1. In the next place, the plate part 10 of a roofing face material is laid between the core-woods 1, 1, and core-wood half-covering parts 11, 11 are put on each shoulder of the core-wood 1 to cover them respectively; then setting respective welding peripheries 12, 13 along the welding tongue strip 8 of the core-wood 1. Furthermore, the welding tongue strip 8 and both welding peripheries 12, 13 are seam-welded to be integrated with each other, and a top fold periphery 13 of the integrated parts is bent, so that roofing execution is completed with respect to the core wood type batten seam roof.
