Abstract

PURPOSE: To suppress an increase in a water level change of a steam drum during stopping by regulating a water supply regulating valve so as to gradually raise a steam drum water level to a circulating pump starting water level set to a higher level than a standard water level. CONSTITUTION: An opening of a water supply regulating valve 23 is regulated to hold a standard level during a normal operation at a water level of a steam drum 13 of a waste heat recovery heat exchanger 8. With the standard level as a reference, a stopping water level lower than a predetermined low water level is further decided as a target at setting of the opening of the valve 23 at a starting level of a circulating pump 14 of a higher level than the standard level, and controlled to be stopped based on these targets. The stop control is for example, switched by setting of the opening of the valve 23 so as to stop a gas turbine 5 or alter water level of the drum 13 from the standard level to a stopping water level according to a firing signal of a combustor 3. Thereafter, the plant enters a stopping period via a transient period. Before the stop, in order to raise the level of the drum 13 once lowered to the starting level of the pump 14, the opening of the valve 23 is again switched to be set.
